SamJam Bluegrass Festival Youth Music Camp

The SamJam Bluegrass Festival is proud to partner with "Miss Megan and Luke McKnight: Archiving Appalachia" on its Youth Music Camp, scheduled for Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the Pike County Fairgrounds in Piketon, Ohio, as part of the festival's activities.

THE EVENT IS FREE. Children are invited to learn about the history of bluegrass music and receive instruction on bluegrass instruments, including the guitar, bass, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, and dobro. Children 16 years of age and under are admitted to the festival at no cost and there is no cost for children to attend the Youth Music Camp.
